What are the benefits of this reset?
You will experience:
- Fairer opponent matchmaking
- The ability to re-earn all Playoff win rewards
- Improved progression rewards
- New level-up and tier-up badge rewards, including from playoff games
Are there any downsides I should expect?
Yes, temporarily:
- Win rates will not be fully corrected until v0.10.0
- Player tier-ups will be unavailable until you re-reach the required progression levels
- Some tougher matchups may occur briefly as you re-progress
These effects are expected and temporary.
Will I lose progress or rewards?
No. You keep:
- All players
- Player upgrades
- Earned rewards
- Purchases
- Club membership
Only the main progression tier is reset.
Why can’t matchmaking be fixed immediately?
The current matchmaking system depends on progression tiers. This reset is required so that team-strength–based matchmaking can be introduced safely in upcoming builds.
When will matchmaking and win rates fully improve?
With our v0.10.0 update in early February, which focuses on team-strength–based matchmaking and more accurate win-rate balancing and many more quality of life improvements.
